The BSL Plan Implementation Group comprises representatives from the University's academic and professional services, including undergraduate and postgraduate student and alumni representatives. The BSL Plan Implementation Group reports on the progress of implementing the BSL Plan 2024-2030 to the University's Social and Civic Responsibility (SCR) Committee bi-annually and as requested. We also report on disability-related actions to the University’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDIC) Committee bi-annually and as requested.

The 27 Actions set out here are underpinned by a more detailed action plan, which may change as we update our progress from 2024 to 2030.  Many sections of the University are also continuing their Actions made under the first University BSL Plan 2018-2024. They will regularly report progress to the BSL Plan Implementation Group.

The SCR is a University Executive Standing Committee that provides strategic oversight of the University’s progress and performance in promoting Sustainability, Civic and Social Responsibility for staff and students on behalf of the University Executive. The EDIC is a University Executive Standing Committee that provides strategic oversight of the University’s progress and performance in promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for staff and students on behalf of the University Executive.
